 ATCO Structures & Logistics (ASL) has been supplying
custom-engineered turbine silencing systems since 1977 under the Higgott-Kane name.
Since its inception,
the company’s mandate was attention to detail, customer’s satisfaction
and un-surpassed quality, which quickly made Higgott-Kane known as the
provider of “best-in-class” noise solutions.
The Company’s products
include inlet and exhaust silencers for gas turbines, acoustical cabins, buildings
and noise enclosures for various compressors, turbines, generators and
other engines and rotating equipment.
In 2000 Higgott-Kane
added another innovation to its portfolio - a unique anti-icing system
for inlets of gas turbines. The proprietary design of this modern
system gives the end user an economical alternative to the traditional
glycol heaters, while maintaining gas turbine operational efficiency.
The Company’s expertise
and reputation in providing noise reduction solutions for gas turbines and other industrial applications didn’t remain un-noticed and in 2005 it was acquired by
ATCO Noise Management - a world leading acoustical construction and consulting firm.
Over the years of competition both companies have developed mutual
respect and “best-in-class” strength in complementary product lines and
niches of industrial noise control market. Currently, both ATCO Noise Management and Higgott-Kane operate under a single entity, ATCO Structures & Logistics. The Higgott-Kane name has been trademarked and Higgott-KaneTM Silencing Systems can be bundled toether with all products offered by ATCO Structures & Logistics.
ATCO Structures & Logistics (ASL) offers the largest North American acoustical
engineering department specializing in industrial noise control with a
full range of noise abatement products and services: from site noise
surveys to new product development, from design, supply and installation
of complete acoustical projects to retrofit of exhaust silencers for the
world’s largest turbines, from CFD and FEA in-house analysis
capabilities to global procurement and site construction management.
This fully integrated
range of noise abatement products and services also allows ASL
