The structural analysis program STAAD is used in the design of our steel support structures for our gas turbine silencing systems and stacks. With the finite element program ANSYS; thermo-mechanical analysis of gas turbine exhaust systems and gas turbine heat exchangers is performed to evaluate thermal performance and structural integrity with respect to plastic deformation, buckling and fatigue.
Models have been developed to optimize stiffener acoustic design and system anchorage for all loading conditions.
